Heddon Valley, you rock!

Heddon Valley, you rock!

Heddon Valley Beer & Music Festival was in full flow last night when Skata Tones took to the stage. Good job too, the air was cooling and a whole lot of skanking and jumping was going to be needed to keep everyone warm!

From the minute the first chords of #HolidayToTheMoon rang out, we knew it was going to be a great gig. A super summer of festivals has been great and this looks to be the last open-air gig on the list, so we gave it the beans. Right through to our banging set-enders #LiveYourLifeUp and #SomethingReal, the awesome crowd kept on bouncing.

A special mention goes out to Cody Jones who stood in for Billy Hammett on Drums. He didn’t miss a beat and carried us faultlessly through his first ever live set! This guy will go far, and we hope to work with him again soon. -Cheers buddy!

Here’s a vid of the man in action:

No doubt there will be some sore heads this morning. We really enjoyed watching Giles Robson and the Dirty Aces afterwards, and there was a great atmosphere in the usually quiet and peaceful Heddon Valley.

Next up, we’re at the Watering Hole, Perranporth with the outrageous Dub Pistols, followed by dates with The Undercover Hippy in Barnstaple and Dreadzone in Falmouth and Barnstaple. Check out our live dates feed for more.
