We’re totally stoked. Can’t wait for the next few gigs, including the fantastic local bands night at The Plough Arts Centre and a showcase gig at The George, Braunton next weekend.
The calendar is filling up fast and it looks like the miles will be racking up over the next few months, with dates in Bristol, Fareham, Salisbury, Sidmouth and Exmouth, along with plenty of appearances in our native North Devon.
So pleased to be back in Appledore with the awesome behemoth of sleazy funk and acid barrelhouse, Tankus the Henge, and with a totally packed house. As ever, they went on to deliver a killer set. A sweaty night was had by all!
What better place to air our own brand of Atlantic Ska than overlooking one of our finest beaches? It might be winter, but that won’t keep us out of the waves. With fine beer, cider and heavy skanking to keep everyone warm, this is guaranteed to be a special night.

We never even thought it would be possible to see these ska legends play live, and now we’re going to be playing at their show in Plymouth! The Beat ft. Ranking Roger is on a huge UK tour, coming to The Hub on FRIDAY 4th November.

We’ve got a new logo and it’s everywhere! The new Skata Tones logo represents our ska roots with a bold black and white theme and our penchant for a little bit of orange. It also brings a little bit of our South-West scenery with a hint at the setting sun …
