The Kingstons

The Kingstons are an exciting 5 piece contemporary band based in West Devon and have a fresh, unique sound incorporating an eclectic blend of influences with a passion for ska, reggae and dub.
The band are currently setting the west country alight with their feel good brand of dance music, with the band all contributing to the writing of their own original songs, drawing on influences including soul, jazz, funk, dub and blues, to create a modern ska/reggae sound for 2019.

The Kingstons have supported The Wailers, The Beat, The Neville Staple Band, Bad Manners, Laid Blak, Chainska Brassika, Sonic Boom Six , Fisherman’s Friends and Land of the Giants to date at venues and festivals such as the Eden Project, Pig and Uncut Festival, Sunrise Festival, The Phoenix (Exeter) and The Hub (Plymouth).
With tracks previously played on BBC Introducing, The Kingstons are excited to have just recorded and released a new 3-Track EP available on all streaming and download platforms.
